Brenna Erickson – ‘One Hundred’
Hailing from Jacksonville, musician Brenna Erickson has released the superb single ‘One Hundred’ in February 2021. It is an electronic-pop release that needs to be heard!
An atmospheric opening opens the single. Brenna Erickson’s stunning vocals enter and instantly take the reins of the song. We love the staccato synths that inject a wonderful texture into the piece.
The backing instrumentation gradually grows and provides a solid foundation for the wonderful vocals to shine. We found the chorus to be catchy and memorable; it stays with the listener long after the music has ended.
We are sure that ‘One Hundred’ will please existing Brenna Erickson fans while simultaneously winning her an army of new ones too. She is an artist to watch in the 2020s.
In addition, Erickson has produced ‘One Hundred’ herself. She has done an excellent job with the production; every part of the layered instrumentation has its own space in the mix and shines bright.
Erickson says about the release, “I just want to write lyrics that are relatable and honest to what I’m going through at a point in time, like a musical time capsule.” She continues, ” I think the best songs come from a genuine place, so that is always at the core of who I aspire to be as a songwriter and an artist.”

We can not recommend Brenna Erickson highly enough. She is an artist with a bright future and one to look out for this 2021. We are sure she is destined to do significant things in the 2020s.
