C-Beem – ‘Angel Hill’
‘Angel Hill’ is the latest release from the superb Leicester based artist, C-Beem. It is a new-wave single with a big heart.
Striking synths open the release, and they pave the way for C-Beem’s attention-demanding vocal to breakthrough. We enjoyed the double-tracked vocals which add weight and texture to the song.
In addition, we adore the addictive nature of ‘Angel Hill’; it is a song which will have you reaching for the repeat button. Lyrically, the single is thought-provoking and stays with the audience long after the music has ended.
The layered and varied synths add texture to the piece. We enjoyed the mix, production and master of the single too, every part of the instrumentation has its own space in the mix, and a well-balanced single has been achieved. The instrumentation works separately but comes together harmoniously too. It is simply a wonderful composition and arrangement.
C-Beem says about this latest single, “‘Angel Hill’ comes a little closer to Earth, yet still in the bittersweet clouds of unrequited love, infatuation and longing.” It is a song that needs to be heard to be fully appreciated.
