Carly Opacic – ‘Luna’

Nashville based artist Carly Opacic has released the magnificent EP ‘Luna’, in January 2021. It is an indie-folk release that needs to be heard!

An intro opens the release and sets the scene beautifully as to what is to come. The title-track ‘Luna’ is enticing from the get-go. An addictive beat lays a solid foundation for Carly Opacic’s wonderful vocals to shine. It is a track which will have you reaching for the repeat button!

‘Loved You’ is another standout song with layered vocals which instantly inject luscious texture into the track. ‘Sincerely’ hears a shift in pace, keeping the audience on their toes. The dreamy chorus is simply divine. Finally, ‘Farther’ closes the release and leaves the listener wanting more!

Carly Opacic says about the release, “This song is about the progressing of a relationship. It is the precursor to the album that sets the tone for the rest. The first part of this two-part album is about a break-up, but the second part is about finding yourself again.”

Brandon Mingo

Brandon Mingo has superbly produced ‘Luna’. He has done an excellent job in creating a body of work which is balanced and filled with texture. Mingo has produced all of Carly Opacic’s tracks so far and together, they have crafted a sound which is instantly addictive.
