Chavis Chance – ‘Bluebonnet Trail’
The brilliant artist Chavis Chance is back! ‘Bluebonnet Trail’ is his latest single release and it is a folk-pop classic in the making.
A gorgeously played acoustic guitar opens the release. It is instantly enticing and lays a solid foundation for Chavis Chance’s wonderful vocals to enter. He is a storyteller with a poets heart.
The bridge and chorus are both filled with wonderful melodies which stay with the listener long after the music has ended. Also the stripped-back instrumentation lets the excellent song shine in the light in which it was written.

Chavis Chance says about the release, “Bluebonnet Trail Elementary was actually the name of my first school, and this whole song was largely inspired by the realization that whatever good memories you might have about a place, you can’t ever really go back.”
He continues, “One night in my first year of college I drove to that old neighborhood thinking it’d be fun to see what it looked like now and it was a surprisingly sad and empty experience. I remember thinking ‘I guess I’m grown up now.’”

Currently based in Spain, Chavis Chance is a superb Texas-born musician. He is a magnificent artist who is making waves with this latest release. Lyrically, ‘Bluebonnet Trail’ is intelligent and thoughtfully written. We believe it is a single that will resonate with many people and will stand the test of time.
