Vancouver based musician, Chelsy Kaze has released her excellent album ‘Skyline’, in April 2020. It is a folk-pop record that is making waves this summer.
‘Rescue Me’ opens the album and it immediately reminds us of Michelle Branch. The acoustic rock feel is attention-grabbing and captivating. Kaze’s vocals are warm and welcoming too. We enjoyed the backing vocals; they add extra texture to the piece.
We adored ‘Matthew’, from the opening electric guitar to the rich ending, it is a song which will have you reaching for the repeat button. ‘Turn Around’ is another great track. The honest content in the lyrics touches the listener and resonates with them. Kaze is an exciting artist with a bright future ahead of her.

Kaze says, “I’ve been writing songs since I was 12 and I can’t imagine my life without music. It’s been such a big part of my life. It helped me get through some of the worst times and helped me celebrate the best. I am passionate at what I do, and this album is one of my proudest accomplishments.” She continues, “I want the opportunity to share my music to the world, and I hope it touches them the way I intended it to. I want to share my story and reach out to individuals and hopefully connect to the lyrics of my songs.” Kaze concludes, “This album is an open book. With every song, you catch a glimpse of pain, joy, love and heartbreak.”
