Conrad Ashton – ‘The Longest Night’

One of our favourite artists is back! Musician Conrad Ashton has released the superb single ‘The Longest Night’ in November 2020. It is an indie-rock release that is full of heart.

‘The Longest Night’ swims into the sonic spectrum. The punchy production hits the audience from the get-go, and we adore the catchy nature of the single.

Ashton’s unmistakable vocals enter, and the song is in full flow. He masterfully guides the track along, capturing the audience’s imagination as he goes.

We adore the layered vocals which lift the chorus. The keys and jangly guitars all create extra colour within the piece. Also, we love the tone that ‘The Longest Night’ achieves, it is deeply moving and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button.

Ashton says about the release, “The track is essentially about trying to save someone close to you from suicide wanting to be with them and help them through.” he continues, “It is a pretty dark song but hopefully one that will help someone someday! I have musically had a successful year and would love to keep that momentum going!”

Relatable

Conrad Ashton has been writing songs since he was eleven years old. He openly talks about his struggle with depression and anxiety in his music, and this makes him a relatable artist who is helping people through his music.

We are big fans of Conrad Ashton. He is an artist who is going from strength to strength with each new release and ‘The Longest Night’ is testament to that. We very much look forward to hearing what this enigmatic artist will do next. Until then, ‘The Longest Night’ is available from the link below. Enjoy!
