DJ H CHIMIST – ‘Castaway’
Hailing from Paris, DJ H CHIMIST has released the superb single ‘Castaway’ in December 2020. It is an electronic-pop release which we can’t recommend highly enough this winter 2021.
An atmospheric whistle opens the release before fading into the backing instrumentation. The stoic vocals breakthrough and instantly take the lead of the song. We adore the rich, inviting tone of the vocals which fill the sonic spectrum. In addition, the chorus is catchy and stays with the listener long after the music has ended.
There is a wonderful vibe to the instrumentation that creates a luscious atmosphere in the track. The layered and varied instrumentation has been produced wonderfully, and a harmonious balance has been achieved.
Hayes
‘Castaway’ is simply a brilliant single. DJ H CHIMIST collaborated with Los Angeles based artist Hayes on this release. Together, the duo has crafted a single which is a classic in the making. It is destined to make waves this 2021, and we very much hope that they work together again soon!
DJ H CHIMIST says about the release, “I invited the singer Hayes to come and finalize my project. We collaborated remotely for the current situation, and the song ‘Castaway’ was born. It was a great experience of exchanging ideas and musical universes.”
