Don’t Problem – ‘CD’s Lament’

‘CD’s Lament’ is the superb multi-genre release from South London-based 8-piece, Don’t Problem. It is an innovative single that needs to be heard this February 2021.

An enticing opening greets the listener. A staccato high-hat and horns fill the sonic spectrum. We adore the ambiguous opening, which entices the audience and holds our attention effortlessly.

As the main melody breaks through, the full band sound enters and fills the sonic spectrum with colour and texture. The layered instrumentation grows before the listener and is thoroughly compelling.

Memorable melodies fill the sonic spectrum, and they stay with the audience long after the music has ended. We adore the intelligently composed and arranged track; it intensifies and relaxes throughout the piece, keeping the listener unsure on which way the song will go next. Simply magical.

Don’t Problem say about the release, “‘CD’s Lament’ is a homage to Craig David. The single started with a chord and melody idea inspired by Garage music. Through our workshop-style rehearsals, this morphed into other heavy brass sections that are synonymous with our sound.”
