Dorothy Harris is a superb alternative-rock band hailing from Spain. Their latest single ‘Where Is My Juliet’, is an indie-rock classic in the making!
An excellent full band sound opens this superb single. The vocals enter almost immediately and take the lead of the song. We love the energy and passion that is apparent from the get-go. In addition, the layered vocals add extra texture to the piece, and the listener is fully immersed in Where Is My Juliet’.
We love the driving rhythm section and jangly guitars. ‘Where Is My Juliet’ is a complex piece set to a fun vibe and intoxicating melodies. This single is catchy and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button.
Dorothy Harris says about the release, “The first single ‘Where Is My Juliet’ talks about the searching we all do of some person or thing we are looking for. Most of us keep searching trying to find something or someone to keep us alive, to give us something to fight for, to give us hope.”
This superb band are comprised of band members Alberto (singer and guitar), Julia (guitar), Jorge (drums) and Lalo (bass). They are a brilliant set of musicians who are making waves with this latest release.
Influences
The band cite their influences as coming from music from the 90s such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Smashing Pumpkins. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Where Is My Juliet’ but make no mistake; Dorothy Harris is making music all of their own.
