‘Milonga Para Sonja’ is the stunning release by the excellent band Emoción. It is a timeless single that will have you reaching for the repeat button!
A graceful opening greets the listener. Furthermore, a gorgeous vocal enters and masterfully takes the lead of the piece. The vocal performance is filled with a luscious tone, accompanied by characterful and charming undertones. It is thoroughly compelling and draws the listener in.
‘Milonga Para Sonja’ evolves before the listener. The beautiful string arrangement is simply stunning and is intoxicating. In addition, we adore the change in intensity throughout the song. The arrangement is stunning too. There is passion in the music which transcends languages and touches the audience deep in the soul.
Emoción is a band who are comprised of excellent musicians hailing from all around the globe. They are separately masters of their respective crafts, but when they come together, magic happens.

The band say about the release, “The song was written as a wedding present for my wife. We were separated for a few months due to some visa issues, and it was a tough time for the both of us. The heartache and desire inspired me to write this love song.”
‘Milonga Para Sonja’ was recorded in Munich, Germany and was mixed by Emmy award-winning sound engineer Matt Howe at Katara Studios. In addition, the single has been superbly mastered by Mazen Munrad. The team have done an excellent job in creating a single which will stand the test of time.
