Hayden Haddock – ‘Better Than Your Memory’

‘Better Than Your Memory’ is the latest country-pop release from USA-based artist Hayden Haddock. It is a magnificent single that will have you reaching for the repeat button.

A full country band sound opens the single, and the scene is instantly set. Haddock’s textured and welcoming vocals take the reins of the song. The backing instrumentation drives the release forward and immediately gets the listener’s toes tapping along.

We found the chorus to be catchy and memorable; it stays with the listener long after the music has ended. In addition, the instrumental hooks add further interest and intrigue to the piece. The added extras of the violins and pianos add vivid colour and layers to the single too.

‘Better Than Your Memory’ follows on from Haddock’s 2021 single ‘Wind It Down’. After hearing this latest release, we will be checking out its predecessor too!

Haddock has teamed up with writers Trent Willmon (Cody Johnson, Granger Smith, Little Big Town), Jim Beavers (Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Toby Kieth) and Brice Long (Randy Hourser, Gary Allen), who wrote ‘Better Than Your Memory’. In addition, the single was produced by Willmon too. Together, the team have crafted a song that sets Haddock as an artist to watch in 2022.

One thing is for sure, Hayden Haddock is an artist who is on the up. ‘Better Than Your Memory’ is paving the way for more new music from this dynamic artist, and we are waiting with great anticipation to see what Haddock will do next.

Until then, ‘Better Than Your Memory’ is available to stream from the link below. Enjoy!
