Holding Poison – ‘Losing Grip’

London based band Holding Poison have released their stunning single ‘Losing Grip, in February 2021. It is an indie-rock release that needs to be heard!

An engaging rock sound opens the single and draws the listener in instantly. The vocals drop, and the track is in full flow. We adore the layered vocals, which immediately injects texture into the piece.

The chorus is catchy and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button. Driving and jangly guitars add colour into the song and set the single alight. One thing is for sure: Holding Poison are onto a winner with ‘Losing Grip’. A must-hear single!

Holding Poison say about the release, “The lyrics are about – Being part of the generation that is led to believe in having the best opportunities to succeed and be prosperous but yet they never seem to come to fruition? Trying to fight with ourselves and life to do the best we can yet we seem to be the ones that are lost? You have to ask yourself does it even matter in the end?”

Band Members

Holding Poison are comprised of band members: Matt Blackwell (Guitarist, Bassist, Vocalist), Jack Findell (Guitarist) – Also Featuring – Joe Lazarus (Drums), Georgie Carter (backing vocals), Charlie Carter (backing Vocals). They are all excellent musicians separately, but magic happens when they come together.

‘Losing Grip’ is the second release from this formidable band. We can not wait to hear the debut single too, and we thoroughly recommend checking both releases out this week.

Holding Poison are a dynamic and driving band that are destined to do important things in the 2020s. We highly anticipate what they will release next.
