Jacqueline Loor – ‘Find Your Way’
Miami based musician Jacqueline Loor releases her superb latest single, ‘Find Your Way’ today, 19th June 2020. It is an indie-pop song with a catchy hook which will be making waves this summer.
Firstly, a driving opening greets the listener. Loor’s vocals are enticing and instantly grab the listener’s attention. In addition, the warm backing instrumentation provides the perfect accompaniment to Loor’s rich and soulful vocal performance. She has charm and character in her voice which is compelling and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button.
Loor says about the release, “The song is about life getting heavy making you feel defeated, but you need to keep going, and you will ‘find your way’. It’s meant to empower people and help people get through tough times.” She continues, “I really felt my fans, and I were struggling with what was going on in the world, and I wanted to write something that lifted our spirits. I was inspired by Portugal the Man and Taylor Swift for this song.”
Recording Process
When asked about the recording process, Loor says, “The vocals were recorded in my home studio in Miami, and Julien Renvoise produced it from his studio in Montreal. Korey Riker (who is the sax player for John Legend) recorded sax for this track. Carl Bahner mixed it from Pennsylvania, and Nicholas di Lorenzo mastered it from Australia!” A real team effort. Together the group have created a single that is destined to stand the test of time.
