New York-based singer-songwriter Jenny Kern is back with her stunning latest single, ‘Now We Know’. It is an honest and heartfelt song which is destined to touch the hearts of its listeners. 

A beautifully picked electric guitar opens the single, as the beat drops the song is in its full groove. Kern’s warm and rich vocals are beautiful. They gracefully guide the piece along and add their unique tone to the melancholic piece. We adored the honest lyrics; they are genuine and flow earnestly. The chorus is addictive and will have you reaching for the repeat button. 

Kern says about the single, “It’s my most honest song to date. Writing this one was different for me. I usually find a melody and the words follow, but with this song, I wrote lyrics first. It’s about self-realization, admitting to mistakes and accepting the end of a relationship.” She continues, “I was working creatively with someone, and we developed a close relationship. One founded on understanding and support. At the time, I was dealing with depression, health issues and change, which lead to mistakes I’m not proud of. I wrote this song shortly after we parted ways.”

‘Now We Know’ has been expertly produced by Andy Seltzer (Maggie Rogers, Chelsea Cutler, Valley). Together Kern and Seltzer, have created a piece of art that is simply wonderful. Shortly after Kern released her debut EP in April 2019, she was invited on her first international tour in Europe and was featured on MTV and ABC. Since then, she has gone from strength to strength.
