Hailing from Australia, JUNO is an exciting new duo whose debut single ‘Sleepwalker’, is a hit in the making.
Layered synths open the release before a driving beat emerges. Catchy and memorable, the lyrics and vocal are both compelling and addictive. We loved the driving chorus and the warm production; they are destined to have you reaching for the repeat button.
JUNO are comprised of band members Tama J. (Vocals/Producer), and Haydn Martin (Keyboard/Producer). Citing their influences as; The Chain Gang of 1974, The Midnight, Neon Indian, The Weeknd, Joji, and Tame Impala, we can hear some of these coming through during ‘Sleepwalker’, but JUNO are making music all of their own.

The single features a sample from a song TJ co-wrote in his previous band, Breakwall. The bass line was originally used for a song called ‘Hometeam’, which was produced by Haydn himself. JUNO says, “The two songs share similar concepts, both discuss the complexity of suffering from a mental illness and battling suicidal thoughts. However, ‘Sleepwalker’ goes more into depth about the detachment from reality. It can provide, as well as giving an almost anthem-like response for all those who relate to the context of the song.”
Juno also say, “The single was created & produced at Haydn’s home studio, by both members of JUNO. The track features guitar work performed by Jacob Ingram and was mastered by James Lawrence.” Together the team have done an excellent job in creating a piece of art that is well balanced and addictive.
So make sure you check out this exciting single today. JUNO has a bright future ahead of them, and we look forward to hearing what they will do next.
