Cork-based musician Kevin Walsh released the stunning single ‘Embrace the World’ in April 2022. It is an indie-pop release filled with a lot of heart!

A full band opens the single and instantly draws the listener in. We love the electric guitar riff that fills the sonic spectrum with vivid colour. Then, as the various vocal performances weave their way in and out of the piece, a rich tapestry of tone and diversity is created.

We adore the heartfelt lyrics to ‘Embrace the World’. They are earnest and genuine, and they reach out and touch the listener. A positive message shines through, and this track is a must-hear release this weekend!

Walsh describes the single as “a gesture of hope for autism awareness in the community for Ireland and beyond.” He continues, “By embracing widely different vocal styles within our supergroup performance, I wanted to allude to the variety within Autistic diagnoses, as each person on the spectrum is an individual with different support needs and ranges of abilities.”

Inspiration

Walsh cites his inspiration for forming a supergroup as coming from artists such as Bob Geldof, Michael Jackson and Irish Women In Harmony. Walsh has done a brilliant job in creating a single that will stand the test of time.

In addition, Walsh will donate 50% of all proceeds from the single and its related merchandise to AsIAm, the national charity providing a one-stop-shop for the Autism community in Ireland. Walsh is using his platform to create awareness with this superb release.
