Hartlepool based band Leopard Rays have released their superb latest single ‘Moon’, today – 10th December 2019.
Guitar feedback opens the single and sets the scene beautifully as to what is to come. Guitars, bass and drums all hit hard, and the listener is engulfed in an impressive wall of sound. Emotion filled vocals shine at the centre of the mix and are backed up by driving guitars. The melodic chorus is ear-catching and infectious leaving the listener waiting in eager anticipation for it to return. We also loved the mix, master and production of the single. The stars have aligned to make ‘Moon’, and we are sure people will love it as much as we do.
The band consist of frontman Luke Dawkins, lead guitarist Sean McCloskey, bassist Tom Pattison and drummer David Wilcox. This foursome are all excellent musicians. Separately, they shine in their respective instruments; when they come together, magic happens.
Leopard Rays have played amongst the likes of The Futureheads, Reverend And The Makers, Little Comets, The Pale White, and The Orielles. While Supporting the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses, and Estrons. We are so excited to have found this superb band. Leopard Rays are hungry for big success and judging by ‘Moon’, it won’t be long until they get it. They are full of talent, drive and passion. Recently, Leopard Rays embarked on a small tour which took them to places they had never been before. The tour finished with a last-minute headline slot at a sold-out Stockton Calling. Brilliant!
‘Moon’ is destined to please current fans and win Leopard Rays an army of new ones too. We can not wait to see what they will do next.
