Luke Royalty is a brilliant musician hailing from Liverpool. His latest single ‘I Could Get Used To This’ (feat. Sweets) is an indie-pop release that needs to be heard this Autumn 2020.
An enticing, atmospheric opening greets the listener before a fleeting guitar enters. Luke Royalty’s stunning vocals begins, and the beat soon follows. We adore the groove of the single; it is filled with a main melodic hook that captivates the audience.
We adore the chorus that is catchy and will have the listener reaching for the repeat button. Sweets’s rap takes the single in a new direction which keeps the listener on their toes. Luke Royalty cites his influences as coming from artists such as Tom Misch and Rex Orange County; we can hear these artists coming through on ‘I Could Get Used To This’ but make no mistake, Luke Royalty is making music all of his own.
