Mo•Louie – ‘An Odd World’ (Mixtape)

Hailing from Melbourne, Mo•Louie has released the excellent ‘An Odd World’ (Mixtape), in November 2020. It is an electronic-pop release with a big heart.

‘An Odd World’ opens the release. The beat is instantly enticing and draws the listener in. ‘Morning’ hears an atmospheric opening with gorgeous and dreamy synths. As the beat drops, the song is in full flow.

We adore ‘Cry’ it is a stand out track and features addictive, layered vocals that inject a fresh colour into the piece. Also, ‘Survivin’ reaches out and touches the audience. The innovative production and brilliant beat are simply magical. Finally, ‘Wonderland’ closes the release and leaves the listener wanting more!

Mo•Louie says about the release, “A lot of these songs are ideas and snippets that captured my emotional state at that particular time. I love the way Dilla was so courageous in his artistry and didn’t stick to any rules; a track could be 20 seconds long, it could abruptly change beat, tempo, key, that type of freedom really inspired me.”

Degree in Music Production

In addition, Mo•Louie is studying for a degree in Music Production at Collarts, which began in 2017. ‘An Odd World’ (Mixtape) has been mixed and produced by Mo•Louie, and she has created a body of work that needs to be heard. She is an artist with a lot to give, and we very much look forward to hearing what she will do next.

So make sure you add ‘An Odd World’ (Mixtape) to your weekday playlist. Mo•Louie is an exciting and innovative artist who is pushing boundaries. We know that the 2020s are going to be a big decade for her!
