Movie Club – ‘Rainshadow’ Feat. Rami Jaffee And Jessy Greene
California-based band Movie Club has released their superb single ‘Rainshadow’ Feat. Rami Jaffee And Jessy Greene, in October 2020. It is an alternative-rock song that needs to be heard!
A gorgeous electric guitar and stoic bass and drums open the release. We adore the laid back vibe, which is affecting and instantly charming. Gorgeous strings enter, and all of this lay the solid foundation for the song to captivate the listener.
‘Rainshadow’ is an instrumental song which features layers upon layers of beautiful melodies and harmonies. It is a track which takes the listener on a journey and is filled with character and atmosphere.
Movie Club says about the release, “‘Rainshadow’ is an intricately-laced conversation of legendary live musicians singing with their instruments, singing for the sadness of not being on the road for an indefinite time, singing to the veiled face of an uncertain future. A psychedelic journey intended to lift souls weary from the wear and tear of 2020.”
Movie Club has been joined by the superb talents of Rami Jaffee (keys, Foo Fighters) and Jessy Greene (violin, P!NK) on ‘Rainshadow’. The track also features a satin bass line by Tim Lefebvre (Bowie, Black Crowes). Together, the team have done an excellent job in creating a single which will stand the test of time.

‘Rainshadow’ is the second single to be taken from Movie Club’s debut LP ‘Black Flamingo’. The full EP is due for release on the 27th November 2020.
