NECROSOCIETY – ‘xX_WrldW4rNeCr0_Xx’
Independent collective NECROSOCIETY brings all eight members together on ‘xX_WrldW4rNeCr0_Xx’, released in October 2026. Continuing a Halloween release tradition that began in 2022, the single takes the form of a cypher, with multiple vocalists contributing successive performances to one extended track.
The collective describes its sound as necrotrap: a genre of its own creation, rooted in metal and rap, incorporating prominent 808s, abrasive distortion and industrial influences. Formed in 2021, NECROSOCIETY handles its production, engineering and releases in-house. Here, producer and engineer HXLX provides the framework for eight voices to inhabit a shared, deliberately confrontational musical space.
An Arresting Introduction with Weight Behind It
‘xX_WrldW4rNeCr0_Xx’ commands attention from its spoken-word opening. The introduction establishes a brooding atmosphere before the lyrics and charismatic vocal performances take hold, drawing the listener into the collective’s densely constructed world.
