Paola Bennet – ‘In This Body’
Brooklyn-based musician Paola Bennet has released the excellent single ‘In This Body’, in March 2021. It is a folk-rock classic in the making.
An atmospheric electric guitar opens the release. It is enticing and paves the way for Paola Bennet’s charming vocals to shine. We adore the stripped back instrumentation at the beginning, which lets the song shine in the light in which it was written.
The gorgeous melodies fill the sonic spectrum and inject their unique colour into the piece. As the kick drum drops, it feels like the heartbeat of the single.
‘In This Body’ is filled with a rich warmth that reaches out and touches the listener. The instrumentation ebbs and flows, creating texture within the piece. It is a single which will have you reaching for the repeat button.

There is also a superb video that accompanies the release. Bennet says about the video, “There had to be a lot of trust because Iris filmed the whole thing remotely without me.
