Pablo Iranzo – ‘Overdose’
Hailing from Munich, Germany, Pablo Iranzo has released his superb alternative-rock single ‘Overdose’. It is a wonderful release that needs to be heard.
A gorgeous, atmospheric opening greets the listener. We adore the tone of the piece; it is warm, welcoming and melodic, drawing the audience in.
The layered vocals are hauntingly beautiful. There is honest integrity in the vocal performance which fills the sonic spectrum. In addition, the layered backing instrumentation adds a complementary atmosphere to the piece. As the full band drops, the single is taken to another level, and we adore the relatable lyrics which will have the audience reaching for the repeat button.
Iranzo says, “I wrote this song some time ago, and I wanted to finish it this year. When I was going through the lyrics again during the lockdown, I felt like this needed to get released this year since it seemed like it was speaking more to me than ever before.”
He continues, “It’s not even about a pandemic or racial discrimination in itself, it’s about how society is falling apart before our eyes because we choose to be ignorant, greedy, selfish hypocrites, accept injustices that happen before our eyes and in many cases are even evil, and this also affects our relationships, which is touched upon in the second half of the song.”
Previously, Iranzo released his debut album ‘Blind Faith’ in 2017. We are so excited to see that Iranzo is set to release his second album in early 2021. We can not wait.
We are so thrilled to have discovered this brilliant artist and composer. Pablo Iranzo has a bright future ahead of him, and we very much look forward to hearing what will come next.
