Poison Oak – ‘Sarah’
Hailing from Australia, Poison Oak have released the excellent indie-rock single ‘Sarah’. It is a must-hear release this February and one which puts Poison Oak as artists to watch in 2021.
A gorgeous acoustic guitar opens the release. It is beautifully picked and soon joined by atmospheric and characterful vocals. As the layered instrumentation grows, the single is in full flow.
We love the heavier sound, which gradually emerges. As the band kicks in, ‘Sarah’ is in full flow. The layered vocals add further texture and colour to the piece too.
The instrumentation’s ebb and flow have been intelligently arranged and keep the listener on their toes, unsure which direction the single will go next. Poison Oak is making music that needs to be heard!
EP Release
‘Sarah’ is the second single to be released by this fantastic band. We can not wait to check out the original single too! We are so excited to see that a full EP is due for release on 19th March 2021. It is a date for the diary!

Poison Oak is comprised of band members; James Balthes, Russell West, Ray Pearson, Lachlan Gleadhill and Chris Reiterer. They are all excellent musicians in their own right, but when they come together, magic happens!
