ROBERT JORDAN – ‘Vincent and Theo’

Boulder-based musician ROBERT JORDAN has released the must-hear album ‘Vincent and Theo’. It is an alternative-rock release that stands out from the crowd this Summer.

‘Over For Good’ opens the release, and the brilliant songwriting greets the listener. We adore the driving instrumentation, relatable lyrics and charismatic performances.

In addition, ‘Beautiful Wife’ takes the album in a fresh direction with a slower tempo and textured instrumentation. Also, ‘Too Beautiful for Words’ is a stunning song complete with heartfelt lyrics and intelligent chordal progressions.

Moreover, ‘In Heaven’ is fuelled by driving melodies and hard-hitting lyrics. Finally, the title track ‘Vincent and Theo’ begins with a dramatic opening that draws the listener in and evolves into a captivating story, complete with stunning vocal performances.

Comments

Jordan says about the release, “This music could be called ‘Folk Rock’ but there are a couple of upbeat rockers and a little jazz.” One thing is for sure, it is a cross-genre release that needs to be heard this Summer.

Team

‘Vincent and Theo’ was recorded at Far and Away Studios in Boulder by Geoff Gray, and produced by David Snider. Together, the team have done an excellent job in crafting a release that works cohesively as a stunning piece of art and one that will stand the test of time.
