Steam Train Hearts – ‘Seed Change’

Hailing from Richmond in the USA, Steam Train Hearts are a folk-rock band. Their latest single ‘Seed Change’, is a must-hear release this Autumn 2020.

A full band sound greets the listener. We adore the melodic bass, driving guitars and rhythmic drums. All of this paves the way for the soulful vocals to enter.

There is an upbeat feel in the music that is inviting and instantly captivates the audience. The main melody is catchy and the stoic chorus will have the listener reaching for the repeat button.

In addition, the guitar breaks are also melodic and add extra colour to the piece. This is a single with a big heart and one that needs to be heard!

The musicians who appeared on ‘Seed Change’ are Wallace Dietz, Bruce Smith, Michael Click and John Morand. They are all excellent musicians and have created a wonderful single with ‘Seed Change’.

Steam Train Hearts say about the release, “The first single ‘Seed Change’, is a call for change in a society that’s becoming more divisive each day as we approach the November election.” A message we all need to heed at the moment.

‘Seed Change’ is taken from the 10-track album, ‘Smoke & Cinder’. John Morand has masterfully engineered it at Sound Of Music Studios in Richmond, Virginia. Finally, Bruce Smith has mastered the release. Together the team have done an excellent job in creating a piece of art that will stand the test of time.

‘Seed Change’ is out now! It is a wonderful introduction to this alternative rock band, and one we thoroughly recommend checking out. ‘Seed Change’ is available from the link below.
