‘One Day You’ll Discover’ opens the release to an inviting rock sound. Stephen Jacques’s charming vocals enter and gracefully guide the song along. There is an addictive quality to the opening that fully engrosses the listener.
We enjoyed ‘A Simple Life Man’, it is catchy and draws the listener in. The layered instrumentation works harmoniously together and creates layers of interest and intrigue. ‘Caroline’ has a relaxed vibe and takes the album in a new direction. It is a wonderful song that adds further depth to the piece as a whole.
The title track is hard-hitting from the get-go. It’s opening groove is a toe-tapping masterclass. As the song evolves, other colours and textures are added too. ‘Jamaican Breeze’ closes the release and leaves the listener reaching for the repeat button!
