Sweet Tooth – ‘Sweet Sick Love’

Hailing from San Diego, Sweet Tooth is an American rock band. Their latest release ‘Sweet Sick Love’ is an attention-grabbing single that will have you reaching for the repeat button.

An atmospheric opening greets the listener. Luscious keys and acoustic soon enter and the track is in full flow. The laid back groove kicks in, laying the foundation for the layered vocals to enter. From the first verse, a big chorus emerges. It is memorable, and instantly grabs the listeners attention and holds it effortlessly. Lyrically, ‘Sweet Sick Love’ will resonate with its audience. This is a big part of the band’s appeal and charm. They are relatable and let the listener feel less alone.

Sweet Tooth is comprised of band members Trevor Barber (bass guitar, synths, keyboard, vocals), Jacob Schrimpf (lead vocals, guitar) and Kevin Bingham (drums, vocals). Separately they are excellent musicians, but when they come together, magic happens.

The band recorded their first Alt-Pop single ‘Sweet Sick Love’ at Ronin Studios. The band say about the release, “It was co-written by Jacob’s college friend, Jordan Straubel, with synth and sub work by DJ/producer Brendon Andrade, a cousin of Kevin Bingham.”
