Los Angeles-based rock and roll band THE JAMÓNS, released their excellent latest single ‘MOMMY LONG LEGS’ in February 2020.
An energetic rock sound greets the listener from the get-go. The infectious riff instantly grabs the attention of its audience. Once the charming and characterful vocals kick in, ‘MOMMY LONG LEGS’ is in full flow. The guitars, bass and drums all work together to drive the song along. We found ‘MOMMY LONG LEGS’ to be lyrically engaging and thoroughly enjoyable. The catchy chorus will have you singing along in no time. We also loved the guitar riffs which swim in and out of the track, adding their unique colour to the infectious single.
THE JAMÓNS are comprised of band members, Brandt Shandera, Chris Glaab, Nicholas Romero, and Kennedy (aka Jack Kennedy Herkel). They draw their influences from rock and roll, punk, blues, garage, and ska. THE JAMÓNS are all excellent musicians in their own right, but when they come together, magic happens.
THE JAMÓNS say, “‘MOMMY LONG LEGS’ tells the story of a beautiful woman with legs for days, that is so greedy for material things that she’s likened to a spider.” They continue, “We’re releasing two more singles over the next few weeks, and then we’ll be working on more new material. We’ll also have some exciting live shows coming up this year. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and Spotify!”
THE JAMÓNS are a band to watch in 2020, and we can not wait to see what they will do next. Make sure you add ‘MOMMY LONG LEGS’ to your lockdown playlist. You will not be disappointed!
