The Limits – ‘Half Lives’

Hailing from London, The Limits have released the excellent indie-rock single ‘Half Lives’ in February 2021. It is a brilliant release with a lot of heart!

An extensive and engaging rock opening greets the listener. The instrumentation pulls away for the luscious vocals to enter. We adore the intelligent composition and arrangement of ‘Half Lives’; it ebbs and flows while keeping the intensity, and audience engaged.

The chorus is memorable and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. Each time it comes around, it feels like an old friend returning. Also, the guitar riffs inject their unique colour into the piece. The Limits are a band who need to be heard this 2021!

We have added ‘Half Lives’ to our FV Music Blog Spotify Playlist, enjoy here!

In addition, we love the mix, master and production of ‘Half Lives’. Every part of the layered instrumentation has its own space in the mix and shines bright.

The Limits say about the release, “The track is called ‘Half Lives’, and it’s our first in about a year. It’s a bit of a heartbreak anthem, about communication failure in a relationship. The track comes out on the 12th of February 2021.”

Previous Release

We are so excited to have discovered The Limits. They are a band with a bright future and after hearing ‘Half Lives’, we can not wait to check out the bands 2019 EP release, ‘What You Don’t Say’.

One thing is for sure; this four-piece band have a bright future ahead of them. We very much look forward to hearing what they will do in 2021.

Until then, we thoroughly recommend listening to ‘Half Lives’ from the link below, you will not be disappointed!
