Zadar – ‘Alien Being’
Hailing from Furlong in the United States, Zadar is an alternative rock artist whose latest single ‘Alien Being’ is a must-hear release.
Driving drums and a staccato bass open the release, they lay the solid foundation for the guitar solo to spring from. There is an industrial feel to the track, and it is filled with awesome texture.
Zadar’s vocals enter, and they are filled with character. They are spoken rather than sung, and this adds to the charm of the vocal performance. The main melody is memorable and stays with the listener long after the music has ended. ‘Alien Being’ has been wonderfully arranged and composed.
Zadar says about the release, “‘Alien Being’ was the first track I wrote and recorded for my upcoming album, ‘The Upstairs Room’. It was recorded in one take in an inspired moment. The song’s lyrics convey feelings of isolation, rejection, and loneliness, feelings most of us experience from time to time.”
Zadar (AKA Antonio Luberto) plays the Guitar, Bass VI, Drums, and Vocals on the release. The single has been produced by SuperiorAudio, and Kateniki has provided the artwork. Together, the team, have created a cohesive piece of art that will stand the test of time.
Influences
This superb musician cites his influences as coming from artists such as The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Interpol. We can hear these muses coming through on ‘Alien Being’ but make no mistake, Zadar is making innovative and creative music all of his own.
So make sure you add Alien Being’ to your weekday playlist. Zadar is an exciting artist who we look forward to hearing more from in the future. Until then, ‘Alien Being’ is available from the link below.
