London based artist AMEY ST. CYR has released her stunning latest EP ‘WILD WORLD’, in April 2020. It is a stunning collection of 4 songs in the electronic pop genre.
The title track ‘Wild World’ opens the release with a mysterious beginning. It quickly evolves into an upbeat intoxicating vibe with an electronic house feel. She says, “The song ‘Wild World’ is a wry statement on the widening gap between the rich and those less fortunate.” This is very relatable to many people, especially at the moment in the time of a global pandemic wreaking havoc on the world. This is a big part of her appeal. The financial implications of COVID19 will be felt in the homes of many people across the world.
‘Do You Feel It Too’ is about one of those chance encounters at the club. AMEY is an excellent storyteller, how will the song end? You need to listen to find out! I believe my positive tunes can lift anyone out of the doldrums and need to be heard by as many people as possible.” We most certainly agree! It is quite simply another thoroughly addictive track. AMEY’s vocals are compelling and filled with luscious tones on ‘Dance Floor Of Freedom’. We love the harmonious backing vocals, and the driving beat captures the listeners’ attention effortlessly.
