One of our favourite artists, Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L, is back with his incredible latest E.P, ‘The Dancer To My Demons’. This Brooklyn based musician has hit the jackpot with this latest release.
We loved ‘Ballerina’ Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L’s effortless vocal performance flows. The beat is intricate is the perfect accompaniment, and the track is filled with interest and intrigue. We also loved the samples used; they are subtle yet integral. ‘Black Bird’ is another dark brooding song which is thoroughly addictive. ‘Neptune’ and ‘Space Suit’ have a more upbeat vibe that have Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L trademark vocals. His songs are instantly recognisable as his, and his brand is sublime.
Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L. says, “Ballerina- Ballerina started as an inside joke between myself and a woman I was involved with. Every time we would hang out, I would always forget things shortly after. This might be because we met at a time when I was trying to clean up my life a bit, and at that point, she was the only ‘drug’ that I wanted.” He continues, “In short nothing else really mattered to me or had my attention as long as she was okay. The floaty and dreamy atmosphere of the track is supposed to simulate the ‘clean high’ I was receiving from our interactions. The bass and the bounce well…that was my heart.”
Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L. is an incredible artist who needs to be heard. He says these are his best songs yet, and we could not agree more. Make sure you add ‘The Dancer To My Demons’ to your playlist this week, you will not be disappointed!
