Elite Fitrea

Elite Fitrea are a Post-Industrial Rock band from Denver, Colorado. They have released their beautifully haunting single ‘Dedication’ in 2018 with a the B side track ‘The Arsonist’.

Fronted By Bryan Day (originally from the rural town of Baden, Germany), the band were formed while Day was incarcerated between 2009-2015. He teamed up with two fellow inmates who would become consistent collaborators going forward.

Firstly, ‘Dedication’ is an impressive 6 minutes 45 seconds in length. It starts with a dark, mysterious and unsettling introduction before poetical lyrics hit with the first verse. The song is slow moving, through the introduction and first verse before a heavy chorus.

Lyrics

Lyrically, the song covers darkness, sin and religion. Shocking at times and hard hitting ‘Dedication’ is not for the faint hearted but a must for any music lover. There are impressive guitar accompaniments and magnificent solos performed with passion and dedication.

In addition, Elite Fitrea have a post-industrial sound with influences of Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More and Nirvana thrown in. ‘The Arsonist’ vocals remind us of Kurt Cobain in tone and the performance evolving into almost metal scremo.

We can’t wait to see what come next!
