68874275_708944739529318_7840368227963109376_nM-40 are an incredible indie band hailing from Manchester, UK. Their latest single ‘Falling’, is a catchy and melodic rock song which will have you reaching for the repeat button!

‘Falling’ opens to a catchy guitar riff. The bass and drums make a sudden and unexpected entrance and they soon become the heartbeat of the song. They create a foundation for the melodic vocals to build from. We adored the cadences in the lyrics which are paired with catchy melodies. The layered vocals on the chorus are divine and help to elevate the chorus above the verses.

The whole song is full of charm, character, and warmth. They are experts in composition. The guitar riffs are meaningful and carry weight with them too. You can hear that M-40 are a band who cares deeply about the music they release and this is what sets m-40 apart from the crowd.

The Band consists of Lee Kennedy – Vocals, Alan Lamb – Lead Guitar, and Songwriter, Justin Lamb – Bass Player and Steven “Basher” Bailey – Drummer. Together, they create a sound that is unparalleled to another band. Yes, they have elements that remind us of Royal Blood and Oasis in parts but they have a vibe all of their own and it is one which is automatically recognisable as M-40.

We could easily hear ‘Falling’ being played at major festivals and being used for placement in TV/Film. It is a song that is accessible to many different people because its lyrics are relatable, passionate and ear-catching.

We are joining the M-40 motion and will be eagerly waiting for their next release to drop. Make sure you check out ‘Falling’ from the links below and we will catch you at an M-40 gig soon! We’ll see you at the front!
