Indie folk musician Savannah Philyaw has released her superb latest album ‘A Whisper in the Wind’. It is a gorgeous collection of songs which are destined to have you reaching for the repeat button!

An upbeat opening greets the listener. ‘Go Alone’ is an expressive and attention-grabbing song, filled with layered instrumentation. The changes in tempo keep the listener on their toes. We adore the layered vocal opening of ‘Running to You’. The kick drum feels like the heartbeat of the song and Philyaw’s charming vocals mesmerise the listener.

‘Temporary’ takes a slower tempo, and the guitar and vocal opening let the song shine in the light in which it was written. The excellent songwriting comes through and captures the listener effortlessly. ‘Grateful for You’ is a superb closing song, leaving the listener wanting more!
