Fender Stratocaster Pink

Dripping with a rock ‘n’ roll attitude, this Strat’s Pure Vintage ’65 pickup delivers a period-correct sound. Finished with nitro, this guitar breathes tone. It is a shell pink stratocaster with attitude!
A period of change, both for Fender and for pop culture as a whole, the 1960s saw the Strat mellow slightly as it grew up. The white pickguard was updated to mint green, and the fingerboard was switched from the original maple to rosewood, adding a smoother note to the Strat’s clear, articulate voice.
The American Original ’60s Stratocaster keeps these refinements intact while adding a modern feel and pickup switching to the iconic instrument that helped birth guitar rock as we know it. It is a shell pink strat that kicks ass!

Other authentic touches include vintage-tall frets, original-era body radii, vintage-style hardware-including a six-point synchronized tremolo bridge- vintage-style hardshell case and a lacquer finish that not only lets the wood “breathe” naturally with the resonant tone it also ages in a distinctively appealing way.
The Fender American Original 60s Stratocaster Shell Pink is the best way to experience the performance, style and tone that made Fender the choice of legends.
And! The colour! A Fender Stratocaster Pink for the win!
“Between this year (2020) and last year, these American Original 50′ and 60’s Fender Strats are as good as it gets. In this price point, there is not “one…single… strat”, from last year or this year that comes close to being this great or this playable. This instrument is great to hold, has great looks and a killer sound, as well as being as close to an original 60’s strat (save for the 7.5 radius, which I’m glad they changed to 9.5). It’s so nice to have a neck (on either the 50’s or 60’s strat) on an instrument that is not a C or modern C or deep D. I am so tired of buying MIM Fender guitars and having to swap out the neck… except for the classic players 50’s strat which wasn’t too bad but is no longer available. I assume it was replaced by the Vintera series, which has a 7.5 radius…no thanks. I only wish they (Fender) would use these exact specks and build a line of these (call them MIM Originals or whatever) guitars in Mexico, thus making them more affordable for us all. However, at the very least, you can get close to custom shop appointments with this series for under 2k, and that ain’t bad.” – Rick Foxx in Shelton, WA.

The shell pink stratocaster body is a perfect mini size for mini players. It is a shell pink fender that keeps on giving. But don’t just take our word for it;
“The guitar is gorgeous. Perfect to inspire my daughter to grab it and play it. That’s what I was looking for in her first electric guitar. She loves it! It is very well made, everything is in place and came ready to use. No setting was necessary; strings action, intonation, nothing. It came all set, which I love. The sound of the pickups, not the best, is ok and expected at this level. I appreciate it doesn’t have any noise, for which I suspect the guitar comes with its cavities already shielded, but I would have to confirm if I ever make a pickup/electronics upgrade to it. All in all, this guitar is a perfect start. Perhaps it is a little bit pricier than I would expect, but it is ok. Better to have the children inspired, than having an unused/forgotten instrument.” – Amazon Customer – United States – May 3, 2021
