The Loose Cut are a four-piece band based in Leeds, UK. Their latest single ‘Demons’ is a chilling and enthralling song that will have you reaching for the repeat button.
‘Demons’ is filled with melodic guitar riffs, dancing high hats and hard-hitting vocal melodies. The vocals have a rich, warm and inviting tone to them. They have been underpinned with subtle but integral guitar riffs. All of these things gives the song character and colour.
The choruses are big and bold with driving bass and drums. The melody is utterly infectious and The Loose Cut will have you singing along in no time. The listner is left eagerly anticipating when the choruses will come. The middle 8 is layered with textured vocals and guitars. Divine.
The Loose Cut says, “‘Demons’ is based around thriving off someone’s dependence on you even though you know they are abusing your help, so much so that when they don’t need you anymore, you feel a loss of sense of self and purpose.” We feel this is a topic a lot of people will be able to relate to and it will resonate deep within them. It is a big part of ‘Demons’ appeal and charm.
The Loose Cut are comprised of George Fayle – Guitar and Lead Vocals, Craig Weston – Guitar, Ciaran Scanlon – Bass and Michael McManus -Drums. Together they are creating music that is thoroughly engaging and mesmerisingly beautiful.
The Loose Cut are set to play at Reading & Leeds Festival 2019 on the BBC Introducing Stage. They have also recently won a place in Futuresound Group’s Emerging Talent competition. So make sure you check out this impressive four-piece, they are a band who are surely destined for big things.
